Beginners Guide to Photography

Everything is complex when there is lack of proper guidance to the way, however everything turns out to be a simple process with the help of proper knowledge and guidance. This blog provides us the details of the beautiful process of photography, which captures the vanishing moments of our life and the precious objects of our world through the lenses of the camera. Let’s begin with the how the most important and significant object of photography works, i.e. the Camera.

 working of camera
An exposure is the combination of basically three elements, the aperture of the camera, the shutter speed and the ISO. These three in combination determine and regulate the amount of light entering the lens. In addition to affecting the exposure, these three also affects the digital noise, depth of the field and the motion blur.
Aperture:  This refers to the diameter of a hole present inside the lens of the camera, which ultimately regulates the amount of light entering the lens.
Shutter speed: After light gets captured by the lens of the camera it then reaches the shutter.
ISO: This regulates the brightness of the image. After the light has been captured by the lens of the camera and the light has been filtered by the shutter, the ISO regulates the sensitivity of the light.

Basic Operations and parts of Camera
Depth of the field: it is quite important and crucial for the beginners to understand regulation and mechanism of the depth of the field, determined by the aperture. In the areas of dim light, the apertures needs to be wider to allow enough light to enter and get captured by the lens. However, this creates a shallow depth of field of the image.
Polarizing filters enables to escape from reflections and glare from the metallic objects. It allows light to enter the lenses from a particular specific direction.
Crop Factor has crucial effect in the quality of the image. The effect varies depending upon the camera. It creates narrow viewing angle, which ultimately influences the purchase of the lens of the camera.
Focal Length of the camera regulates the concept of zooming in and out of the images. The perspective of the images are also affected by the focal length of the camera.
